DdD pos – the most user-friendly cash register in the market

DdD pos is DdD retail´s cash register solution for the retail trade – user-friendly with many features, especially directed at fashion retailers. The POS is equally useful whether you are responsible for a chain of stores or one single store.

DdD pos naturally includes the most frequently used standard functions such as discount, stock management, handling of gift vouchers, daily reports with key figures and much more. In addition, DdD pos has a number of other features that facilitate daily operations.

Easy and simple configuration maintenance

The structure of the user interface is logical and has an attractive graphic layout. It features the well-known icons from Windows and the sales assistant only needs to go through two screen displays to complete a transaction.

The DdD pos administration module enables you to maintain the configuration yourself, e.g. define a product description on a receipt right down to variant level, specify the text on gift vouchers, credit vouchers and receipts for exchange as well as the text on the customer display (if available).

It is also possible to enter additional information on the individual articles such as additional sales information on supplementary and replacement products and to include a picture of the article.

The cash register is user-friendly featuring a touch screen, and the user interface can be customised to the individual employee. Font, language and screen layout can be specified so that only the functions most frequently used are visible.

Monitor sales directly on the cash register

It is possible for all the employees to see daily sales directly on the cash register

On the log on screen the sales figures are displayed numerically and/or graphically – the administrator decides which figures to be displayed and the layout.

Integration with DdD backoffice and ERP systems

DdD pos can either be integrated with DdD backoffice and/or ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/NAV and SAP.

• Enter your personal sales assistent code or use a magnetic card
• On the screen you can see all the scanned articles. When the last article has been scanned, the sale is completed using the form of payment requested by the customer, i.e. cash or credit card.

Payments

• Discounts are a significant and often used sales parameter in a store. There are several kinds of discounts that are all handled in different ways. DdD pos provides the following:
  • Easy function for a new price – before/now price
  • Product discount in percent or a currency
  • Discount on a receipt in percent or a currency
  • Set price or package price (promotion prices)

Cash register balance

• You only need to enter the cash balance in the morning and in the evening as well as cash deposited in the bank. Then a financial report will be printed

Printouts and reports

• By default DdD pos provides a wide range of prints and statistics that support the needs of the individual store.
